he Collins Foundation was founded in 1987 and named after Dr. Maurice "Maus" W. Collins in recognition of his more that 40 years of untiring efforts and dedication to the community as an educator, counselor, coach and friend. The primary purpose of the foundation is to provide educational financial assistance to Catholic High School students living in the Archdiocese of Washington D.C. This is accomplished through the awarding of scholarship grants named in the memory of Martin T. McAdam, one of the founders of the foundation.
o date the foundation has donated over $275,000 in scholarship funds to worthy students who, due to financial reasons, might not have been able to complete their years at Catholic High School without the benefit of financial aid.
